Boy Fell In Pond is a script development company based in Auckland, New Zealand. Its mission is to write and develop ‘Small Movies with a Big Heart’.

Boy Fell In Pond’s principal is John Evan Harris, an experienced television writer/director/producer who sold his company (Greenstone TV) in 2014, and now develops his own projects for the cinema.

His focus is on scripts for low to mid-budget movies which engage the audience and evoke an emotional response. They are in several genres – fantasy, romance, adventure, drama, thriller – and are aimed mainly at the family audience.
